Risk Management and Compliance Assistant Manager/Manager.
  • Purpose of Position:
  • To carry out the Company’s risk management and compliance to achieve its strategic objectives, increase the value of the Company, and comply with the regulatory requirement.
  • Functional Roles & Responsibilities:
  • • Supporting the board and the risk committee in the Enterprise risk management (ERM) implementation; establish, review, and approval of the ERM framework, policy, and procedure
  • • Engaging in the process of setting risk appetite, risk tolerance, risk identification, risk measures, and key risk indicator (KRI) for the various business lines and monitoring their performance relative to risk-taking and limited adherence.
  • • Monitoring of risk register, risk-taking activities and risk exposures to ensure they are in line with risk management policy, strategy, and regulatory requirement.
  • • Liaison with internal and external auditors for sharing of risk issues and supporting of audits where necessary;
  • • Providing support, education, and training to the Company’s staff to build risk awareness
  • • Monitor new laws and regulation, maintain a regulatory inventory, communicate regulatory changes to and engage with the front line unit and control function in assessing impacts of regulatory changes.
  • • Develop and maintain relevant policies (or review relevant Policies) to ensure they reflect regulatory requirements.
  • • Monitor and test the effectiveness of the front line unit and control function compliance.
  • • Reporting the risk management and compliance performance to senior management, the risk committee, the audit committee, the board, and the regulator

  • • Male or Female, Thai nationality with fair to good command of English skills.
  • • Postgraduate, graduates of risk management courses, and/or courses with risk management content would be advantageous.

  • Job Description
  • Together with Head of claims, establish and implement claim policy, procedure to achieve high level of service standard.
  • Manage and execute daily operation of claims section, co-ordinate the processing and settlement of claims
  • Monitor new claims notification to ensure that all new claims are properly recorded and put into GIS system within the agreed timeline.
  • Investigate and assess damage to property and examine claims form and other records to determine insurance coverage
